Reddit is a news, general interest and commenting website designed to allow users to post and vote on content. There are vey few restrictions on the content or comments posted to Reddit. With the exception of child pornography, no adult content is prohibited.
Users are not required to supply a real name when joining the network, so most Redditors are anonymous.
Reddit users must be at least 13 years of age, but it is unlikely that underage users will be caught. Especially with younger users, we recommend that users be very careful about viewing or posting age-appropriate content, and do not engage in messaging with strangers. In addition to adult-oriented content, Reddit users are frequently subjected to cyberbullying.
As of May 15, 2013, Reddit has announced that it will permanently retain the IP address of users, even after an account has been deleted.
